Acceptable Use Policy
Use synthetic records responsibly and within the licensed scope.
Version 1.0 · 6 September 2026
1.
Keep synthetic data identifiable as synthetic
Do not present an FCTE resident, organization, event or transaction as a factual record about a real person or entity. Preserve release context and synthetic-data labeling in demonstrations, publications and downstream outputs. Do not attempt to identify real individuals from synthetic records or use them to impersonate anyone.
2.
Use within the agreed purpose
Use the materials only for the purposes and users authorized in the accepted order. Validate suitability for the intended question and retain the assumptions, known limitations and evidence used. A certification report addresses its disclosed checks and release scope; it is not approval of every downstream use.
3.
Protect people and systems
Do not use the materials for unlawful discrimination, fraud, deceptive identity claims, unlawful surveillance, or infringement of others' rights. Do not use a synthetic record as a basis for an adverse decision about a real individual. Consequential applications require suitable real-world validation, safeguards and qualified oversight.
4.
Protect access and report issues
Do not bypass access restrictions, expose licensed records through public repositories or insecure services, or remove required notices. Report suspected material defects, unauthorized disclosure or security issues to fidelra.africa@fidelra.ai with the release and affected scope. Share only the minimum information needed to investigate.
