CURRENT PUBLISHER LICENCE
Striped Donkey public dataset materials newly published under this policy,
including previews, samples and accompanying documentation, are licensed under
Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).

PERMITTED USES
Copy, share and adapt these materials for non-commercial purposes. Research,
education, evaluation, benchmarking and AI or machine-learning experiments are
permitted when the use qualifies as non-commercial. Non-commercial means the
use is not primarily intended for commercial advantage or monetary compensation.
An organization's type does not determine this by itself.

ATTRIBUTION WHEN SHARING
Give appropriate credit, link to the licence, indicate changes and retain the
notices supplied with the material. Do not imply endorsement by Striped Donkey
or Fidelra Africa. Any reasonable attribution format may be used. Include the
dataset title, publisher, source URL and licence. A release identifier and
synthetic-data context help readers identify the material.

EARLIER SOURCE LICENCES
Original reference releases already supplied under CC BY 4.0, including the
ML-01 and health packages, retain those grants. This policy does not revoke them
or add a NonCommercial restriction to copies supplied under them. Check the
licence notice for the exact artifact you use.

OTHER NOTICES AND LICENCE PERMISSIONS
Third-party materials retain their own notices and licences. This policy does
not relicense GeoNames location data, third-party reports, fonts, software,
logos or trademarks. Non-commercial redistribution and adaptation are permitted.
Do not add legal terms or technical measures restricting the CC licence's
permissions. Applicable exceptions and limitations remain available. The CC
licence cannot be revoked while its conditions are met.

CUSTOM AND COMMERCIAL ORDERS
Custom orders and unpublished commercial extracts follow the Data Licensing
Agreement and accepted order: /data-licensing-agreement. Public-material rights
do not grant access to a paid release. Commercial use of material licensed only
under CC BY-NC 4.0 requires separate permission from Fidelra Africa.

The 8 October 2026 free-sample policy and its PDF/TXT copies are historical records.
Earlier artifact licences and accepted commercial orders are not amended by this
website policy.
